Roster Creator for Maternity Out-Patients and Maternity Ultrasound

BAND 4

37.5 hours week

Providing day to day management of rosters for outpatient services through use of an electronic E-Rostering system.
Manage NHSP (Staff Bank) Bookings
Manage annual leave allocations and staff training allocations for the designated areas.
Manage the on-call rotas.
To provide an effective first point of contact for enquiries and information around NHSP bookings.

Liaise with the Clinical Teams as necessary to ensure bookings are appropriately managed, in line with OUH Trust procedures and aim to provide the best solution in the timeliest manner to support the service requirement.

The post involves providing a staff roster in line with Trust guidelines and KPI's for all Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and Sonographers working within the 4 out-patient teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all changes are updated in a timely manner to support the service requirement.

The post requires a full understanding of the system from set-up to running rotas, changing allocations and updating annual leave.

Full training will be provided.

You will also be responsible for creating, updating and authorising NHSP bookings ensuring bookings are appropriately managed. Supporting clinical staff will be a very important part of the role. Other important personal attributes include planning, organisational skills, team working and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The post holder will work closely with Matron, Team Leads and the in-patient and community roster creators.
