Accounts Assistant / Purchas Ledger Clerk


Our client, a leading employer of choice, are in search of an experienced
Accounts Assistant /
Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their well-established team.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
  • Process business expense returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheques
  • Processing BACS payments
  • Processing all supplier notes
  • Setting up payment runs
  • Minimum of 1 year's previous experience in a similar role
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
  • Team working skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise workload
