Procurement Assistant - Gourock - Permanent - £30,000 DOE


ARM are delighted to be supporting a leading Maritime business with the Recruitment of a Procurement Assistant on a permanent basis.

The Procurement assistant will support the Procurement function providing Procurement system administration and general Procurement support.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide Procurement system administration
  • Support further developments of the company's purchasing system
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure user levels access in processed
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on new supplier onboarding
  • Ensure supplier price lists are updated
  • Assist with management information reporting
  • Provide any adhoc administrative support to the Procurement team

Requirements:


  • Previous experience held as a Procurement administrator
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Ability to deal with staff at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Good general standard of education
