What you will be doing:

Over the next 2 years, OSB will be investing heavily into their technology capabilities, meaning you would be joining at a pivotal point in the growth plans.

From a Server OS perspective, the role will provide with the opportunity to deliver new enablingcapabilities, developing and delivering templated systems resolving infrastructure support issues and maintaining, managing, and optimising overall performance and availability of the infrastructure and team.

The job involves working closely with Infrastructure teammates, as well as architects, project managers, developers, and incident managers, to fix technical problems as quickly as possible.

You will also need to identify and escalate repeatable issues tohelp ensure they do not happen again.

The role is essential to the organisation and you will be seen as a technical expert within your field, this would result in extensive involvement in project planning for future services as well as maintenance and upgrade planning for existing.

You willneed to provide technical assurance for all changes within the remit of their technology tower and be accountable for the stability within your technologies.

You will work across various Server technologies hosted on-premises and in the cloud. This role formspart of an Infrastructure team providing both BAU and Project support to our clients. Working in an SLA driven environment to deliver high levels of customer service to our client.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting (patching, maintain and managing) production and Dev and Test environments (on premise and Cloud) and Support infrastructure at an Operating System and Application level
Provide support to the existing Server infrastructure and act as escalation for team support activities
Administration and development of On-Premise Exchange and Office 365 environments
Offer expertise within the team for the resolution of all technical incidents and problems
Keep all of the environment patched to the required standards at all time
Project lead on key infrastructure projects as defined by the business
Creation of technical documentation and knowledge transfer to IT Level 1, 2 and 3 teams

Could you be the one?

Previous in depth experience with using MS Azure
Robust knowledge of MS Windows Servers and MS Exchange Servers
Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Knowledge of Citrix Based Technologies and VMWare Virtualisation
