Description

We are seeking a Yard Operative to join our team in a busy vehicle recovery depot in Upminster, Essex.
Handy Person skills an advantage

Must be happy with the role that includes daily sweeping the outside yard of debris, sweeping the warehouse, washing trucks, cars and veleting the interiors.

This is a Self-Employed position - We can help/advise if you have never been self-employed before

Key responsibilities:

Daily sweeping the outside yard of debris
Daily sweeping the warehouse
Washing trucks, cars and veleting the interiors.
Loading/Unloading Vehicles
Cleaning Workshop for following day
Keeping Yard tidy
Keeping perimeter fence clear of debris
Liaising with staff and Customers
Other duties as required including Handy-Person skills

What we need from you

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 9am - 1.00pm

Must be able to drive due to site location and job role
Class2 licence and advantage
Prepared to drive/learn to drive a forklift in all weather
Must be safety conscious
You will be on your feet all day so fit and able
He/she is expected to possess excellent communication skills; he/she must be able to listen to and take and give instructions to and from a small friendly team

From £11.50 per hour
