This position is within the EMEA CIB P&SD Xceptor Team that plays a critical role in driving process automation via Xceptor which sits within the change and product support agenda for EMEA CIB Operations.

The role will be expected to support a team of Change specialists in formulating the long-term strategic objectives and partnering with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Technology to ensure business requirements are written clearly and roadblocks todelivery are removed.

Resulting in the continued growth of the EMEA platform while strengthening the risk and control environment we operate within.


key responsibilities:


  • Design and document process requirements to drive Xceptor new processes or process enhancements.
  • Perform impact assessments to understand the impact on Operations, across all frontoffice assets
  • Drive delivery of all project deliverables including business case, requirements, project planning, testing, implementation, and closing.
  • Identify, analyse and manage risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating as necessary and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines
  • Ensure that project delivery is carried out according to the defined scope.
  • Appropriate tracking and monitoring are imposed throughout the implementation and post successful completion.
  • Collaborate Operations teams to deliver optimal solutions

Skills and requirements:


  • Possess a proven ability to work in creating efficient and effective processes and controls with a goal to minimize systemic and systematic risks.
The individual will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services; experience with Xceptor is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills and business writing skills including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interface between the business and technology teams, work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders in IT, Operations, Product Control and the Business.
  • Ability to understand problems, identify solutions and develop clear options and recommendations
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile approaches to project delivery (Optional)
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and make specific recommendations
  • Ability to identify inefficient and/or ineffective processes and provide solution options
  • Aptitude to structure multiple tasks and work in an organized manner under pressure and time constraints
  • Flexibility to manage multiple distinct work streams simultaneously
