The Role:

Based at London Bridge.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team to continue Southwark's commitment of ensuring that children and young people with Special Educational needs have a positive educational experience, we are looking for an Education Health & Care Plan Co-ordinators to work in the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Team.

To be responsible for a caseload of children with Education Health Care Plans (EHCP).

This Includes overseeing the child's journey from the commencement of statutory assessment to placement, ensuring all statutory processes are met, until finalisation of their EHCP using key working principles with the family.


To act as the named officer for a group of schools but to also be flexible and work as part of a team, providing services and support to parents/carers and colleagues.

Foster and maintain close and effective working relationships with all partner agencies.


About You:


You will need a sound working knowledge of SEN and disability, excellent customer service skills, as you will be the first point of contact with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals both inside and outside of the organisation.


This post requires excellent I.T skills with a commitment to maintain accurate and comprehensive pupil records on paper and electronic database systems.
