Job Overview
ApotheCom is a world-leading medical strategy agency with an extensive track record of success. We are now recruiting for a talented and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our operations team. The Senior Financial Analyst will act as the financial leadwith respect to revenue recognition, forecasting and project auditing.

This includes financial tracking, reporting, and collaborating with account team members to proactively update project information in accordance with the Company's standard financial practicesand controls.

There will also be a need to support month end closing activities, as well as other accounting responsibilities


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong working relationships with small finance team and key stakeholders
  • Provide finance support to specific client facing teams, ensuring financial reporting system is properly maintained
  • Hold monthly meeting with account leads to review performance against forecast and monitor KPIs
  • Process monthly project revenue in the finance system, reconciling to expectation
  • Understand the impact of foreign currency transactions on jobs
  • Proactively investigate areas of concern, following up with key stakeholders until issue is properly resolved
  • Ensure working capital targets are maintained through prompt invoicing and cost forecasting.
  • Be responsible for the freelancer financial management piece of the business
  • Help on month end/year end activities including being responsible for certain Balance Sheet transactions
  • Other ad hoc projects as requested

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience of working in a communications agency or a similar environment
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • A proactive selfstarter and natural relationship builder
  • Comfortable working in an informal, unbureaucratic environment
  • Have strong organizational skills in terms of time management, prioritization, and workload management
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment, work to and within multiple deadlines and to juggle multiple projects
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize responsibilities and work in a teamoriented environment as well as independently
