Chartered Building Surveyor / Senior Surveyor
Location:
London
£50,000 - £55,000 pa plus car allowance (£3,000pa to £4,200pa DOE)
My client is an independent property real estate advisory business which specialises in many aspects of commercial and residential property, providing expert service.
The Role:
Your role will be to
assist the Building Consultancy division and Regional Director with the expansion and provision of building consultancy throughout the country, but principally the London team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be versed with and undertake all the usual aspects of building surveying.
- To undertake continuing professional development (LLL) in matters relevant to building surveying and in compliance with RICS.
- To assist in maintaining good relations with all clients and company personnel.
- To liaise with and assist other members of the Company with provision of building consultancy services.
- To maintain and improve office systems.
- To help promote the Building Consultancy Division and the firm as a whole, both locally and nationally.
- To generate Building Consultancy opportunities with both internal and external clients to promote services within London and surrounding areas.
- To assist cross selling services to clients.
- Assist Regional Partner in development and expansion of London BCD team.
- Develop existing clients to increase income targets for individual fee income & London team.
- Develop new clients via business generation and marketing to improve income levels for individual & London team.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Must be a Chartered Building Surveyor(MRICS)
- Maintain professionalism.
- Work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as a team member for divisional office.
- Utilise past experience as Chartered Building Surveyor to progress, manage and complete instructions on behalf of clients.
- Remain approachable to all members of staff to assist queries raised in dealing with instructions or businessrelated matters.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour & 15 minute lunch break, totalling 36.25 hr week
