Cook at Langton Primary
School, York, North Yorkshire.

As part of our catering team
you will be performing a variety of tasks to help prepare and cook tasty,
nutritious meals from locally sourced fresh produce.

We are currently recruiting a School
Cook to join our team at Langton Primary School.
As a school cook your role
will be to prepare and cook home cooked nutritious food within a budget
following all food legislation and maintaining an effective catering service operating
to the highest standards of food safety.
On a daily basis you will be
carrying out food preparation, cooking, serving meals to students and staff, food
ordering, managing stock, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment,
recording and documentation of all relevant information following our food
safety management system.

You will be a valued member of
our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed working from 8.15am
to 2.00pm totalling to 28.75 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work
You will work term time weeks
only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. You will be paid £11.39 per hour in addition
to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
