The Role


This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has demonstrable experience developing, implementing, and managing the group reward strategy aligned with the long-term business goals.


The role holder will provide consultancy support to key stakeholders and operate as a trusted and influential advisor to JFS executive leadership team, business managers and HR teams on all areas of reward, including activity in relation to the annual reward cycle and project activity.

This will be through regional alignment to all JFS regions, while also working on the core JFS group Reward agenda.

The role holder will contribute to the development and implementation of new reward programmes, continuous improvement, horizon scanning and innovation


Principle Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with the global HR team and JFS executive leadership team to ensure JFS offers innovative and competitive reward programs to attract, engage, develop/grow and retain the talented individuals needed to successfully execute the business strategy.
  • Implement and refine JFS Total Reward philosophy, building an indepth knowledge of all aspects of Total Reward at JFS to articulate and define the key aspects of the employee value proposition (EVP).
  • Drive the strategic design and execution of the company's global compensation, benefits/wellness, pension, and mobility programmes.
  • Lead Reward projects in line with the delivery of our strategic Reward fundamentals/principles (transparency, consistency & fairness)
  • Understand and actively support the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) agenda and ensure that reward activity is aligned with JFS DE&I goals, conducting regular pay equity analyses to determine pay gaps in either gender or race and ethnicity groups, developing remediation plans to address concerns.
  • Provide indepth technical expertise in all areas of benchmarking and operating all aspects of compensation
  • Implement and develop JFS approach to incentive management including annual, longterm and sharesbased incentive plans and commissionbased arrangements
  • Play a key role in delivering the annual reward cycle and yearend activity (salary review, bonus process, share incentive plan processes)
  • Utilise expertise in benefits management to develop, enhance and communicate the inherent value of JFS' benefit offering
  • Work directly with our global employee benefits management providers to manage and deliver annual benefit renewals, assessments and enhancements that are market competitive.
  • Have an indepth knowledge of all aspects of global mobility, working with a range of providers to ensure that assignments are successfully instigated, managed and concluded in compliance with local requirements
  • Ensure all compensation, benefits/wellness, pension and mobility programmes are market competitive, aligned with business goals, consistently administered, and in compliance with company policies and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Provide global reward insight, analysis and recommendations for the Board, the Executive Committee, the HR Leadership team and Business Unit Leadership teams
  • Provide consultative technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding compensation and benefits to managers, employees & the wider HR function
  • Support regional HR Teams and managers in compensation analyses for promotions, hires and market adjustments.
  • Proactively identify changes to areas of responsibility, anticipating and managing implications and the impact of any changes
  • Liaise with Reward third party providers as necessary and potentially acting as lead JFS relationship manager as required
  • Continually reviewing and improving systems, processes and procedures to ensure best practice and efficient processes are in place
  • Provide insight and recommendations for improving the reward management by scanning the horizon and keeping up to date with legislative and market developments
  • Develop an innovative communication strategy for all areas of reward delivery and consultancy
  • Develop training and communication materials to educate and guide managers/employees on compensation and reward
  • Play a critical role in acquisition due diligence and integration.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in Total Rewards within a multinational organization together with a strong appreciation of what it takes to be effective within a diverse and decentralized business.
  • A University degree (ideally in a Business or Finance related field) is preferred.
  • Membership of the CIPD and a professional certification (such as the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Award in Reward Management or WorldatWork certifications) would be advantageous
  • A strong knowledge of pay structures, job evaluation principles and benchmarking methodologies is essential.
