Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional and friendly?


We're looking for four Multi-Skilled Operatives where you'll be completing a wide variety of trades tasks to a high standard with an emphasis on delivering an efficient repairs service to Abri customers.

You'll be working around Eastleigh, Andover and surrounding area.


Working as a great team player, you'll be carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.

You'll be a good communicator, have an achievement based approach to your work and be motivated. A City & Guilds or NVQ qualification relating to the above trade skills and previous experience is required.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • To carry out plumbing and carpentry repairs and installations to our properties, in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all works are planned, programmed and completed to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • To include plumb in sink/wash hand basin/bath/WC, all tiling, lock changes, all carpentry and joinery, kitchen & bathroom fit, maintenance of sanitary ware, patch plastering and decoration works.
  • To achieve quality in carrying out multi trade work and that you comply with our health and safety policies and statutory legislation.
  • To provide technical advice, support, or guidance to other departments within the Abri group to enable them to carry out their duties.
  • To work with our colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team where appropriate providing support where needed in the interests of effective and efficient services and in particular the contract teams.
There'll be a further requirement to cover an out of hours service on a rota basis


In this role, you'll be an ambassador for the organisation by using your 'can do' attitude to provide a high-quality, 'right first time' service to our customers all while being the friendly face of Abri.
