This is a key role in supporting and developing place-based community development and engagement programmes to help build communities which are safe, strong, cohesive and confident.

Working in a locality area within the Districts you will be helping communities bring about social change and improve the quality of life in their local area.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to respond appropriately to the audience as you will be in contact with lead members (councillors), residents and senior officers.
  • Efficient time management and effective communication skills.

You will be at the forefront of some of our key areas of work, engaging with officers across departments of the Council as well as external stakeholders such as our partners in the voluntary and public sector.
