Description

A rare secondment post has become available in the Trust's Spiritual Care Team, and we are looking for a committed female Muslim to join us to cover maternity leave.

The primary purpose of this part-time post is to support the Trust in meeting the needs of our female Muslim service users within our in-patient services.


Due to the nature of the role, the requirements of this post specifically require the post-holder to be female and a practicing Muslim, [section 159 and Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 applies, details available on request].


To contribute to the provision of spiritual care to service users, families and carers and staff of BSMHFT, with a particular focus on the needs of Muslim women as well as those who do not identify with any specific faith or belief group.
