MDDUS is a mutual defence organisation founded by and for healthcare professionals, with an expert staff of doctors, dentists, lawyers, and risk advisers who are leaders in the medico-legal and dento-legal fields.


Overview:

Due to a recent internal promotion, an exciting apprenticeship opportunity with MDDUS has opened

Over the past couple of years, QA and MDDUS have work closely to support new hires and current staff through apprenticeships to aid digital skills.


Duties:


System usage include:


  • Internal company CRM and Document Management Systems
  • Online portals

The Digital Mailroom and Administration Apprentice duties will be:


Processing incoming mail, including:


  • Accurate scanning, indexing and uploading of documents
  • Indexing, uploading or onward transmission of electronic mail
  • Creation of new case files
  • Collection and franking of outgoing mail
  • Uploading and copying discs
  • Housekeeping of electronic documentation
  • Electronic document manipulation and encryption services
  • Scanning and uploading of radiographs for Dental advisors
  • Managing case file as required in ShareFile
  • Offsite storage hard copy records retention and destruction in line with records retention policy

Desired skills:


  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work within a team
  • A willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel and Word

Salary:

£19,000 per annum.


Working week:

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Future working pattern will be between 8am-6pm
