Compton Care provides free care and support for people living with incurable illnesses and their families.

If you are compassionate and good at listening, then we may just have a volunteering opportunity for you.


Our Bereavement Team are looking for volunteers to support people experiencing bereavement by supporting our Community Bereavement Hubs and also by engaging in short ongoing telephone conversations.


We require confident, committed, and empathetic individuals who can offer bereavement support remotely and/or face to face, providing a safe space where bereaved people can talk openly about the things that are worrying them, their thoughts, and their feelings.
