AV Designer - London

Alecto Recruitment are currently working for a standout technology company who specialise in bespoke AV Design and Installation throughout the South East.

Our client are a creative technology company that puts people at the heart of every experience.

They provide technology solutions to celebrities, high profile sporting persons and highly successful business people looking for Smart Home Automation and Home Cinemas, as well as working with the most well known and highly respected commercial companies.

They are in the market for an experienced AV Designer who has experience working with CAD who is looking to elevate their career whilst working with some of the most respected companies and profiles in the UK.

The role

Production of Audio visual system schematics
Production of Audio visual M&E drawings
Production of bespoke metal work design
Bracketry, plates, etc.
Production of bespoke woodwork design
Control desks, lecterns, media walls, etc.
Production of basic drawings detailing optical rigs, projection throw, screen distances, equipment/power/service/data positioning
Production of bespoke Home Cinemas and Smart Homes designs
Production of containment drawings
Attending site meetings as and when required
Designing coordination with all internal departments and external clients/consultants

Desirable Skills

Working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installation (including Crestron, Control4, Lutron, AMX, Extron, Audio DSP, Video conferencing, etc.)
A thorough understanding of technology behind the equipment and associated interfacing
Experience and knowledge of D Tools/Visio
AutoCAD Knowledge/Experience
BIM software Knowledge

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approach
The ability to deliver under pressure with minimum supervision
To communicate effectively with people at all levels
A positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering the role
Experience of meeting targets and deadlines and working under pressure

Package:

- £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
