Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs, in accordance with their EHCP and individual learning plan.
Develop and implement personalised strategies and interventions to support the child's academic, social and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and other professionals to deliver a holistic approach to the child's education.
Monitor and record the child's progress and report back to relevant stakeholders, including parents and carers.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for the child and promote positive behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting is essential.
A relevant qualification such as a Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent is desirable.
Knowledge and understanding of SEN and the ability to implement personalised strategies and interventions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and professionals.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
