Do you want to work with one of the biggest media companies in the UK, that owns over 130 national and local media brands? Do you like the idea of helping take 2 of their best known brands into the US market? This is a genuinely unique opportunity for anexperienced multi-channel Marketing Manager to help launch well known brands into the USA.

Whilst this is a 12 month fixed term contract, there is plenty of opportunity in the business and it could turn in to permanent role in the future.

The Job...

The Marketing Manager will report into, and work closely with, the Head of Customer Acquisition. You'll also collaborate with colleagues across the design teams and performance marketing teams.

You'll be working fully remotely, however the business has officesacross the UK should you want some face to face time and generally they try to get the team together at one of their various locations once a month.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Meticulously planning and executing a range of compelling, customer focused and dataled, multichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Tracking and optimising these campaigns throughout to deliver the desired ROI, both within budget and on time.
  • Developing new strategies to increase new subscribers; planning, targeting customers appropriately and agreeing the best metrics for campaign success measuring.
  • Managing creative production of online and offline marketing assets, design, print, digital, video production, and digital tools, from the initial concept to finished product.
  • Ensuring multichannel continuity of campaigns through all channels, working with and influencing a range of key internal stakeholders.
About You...


If you're an experienced Marketing Manager, with excellent knowledge of social media marketing, you could enjoy a role with a heavy focus on driving user activity using content around interests such as sports, celebrity news, and current affairs.

Here's some of the experience you need to be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong grasp of digital marketing tools and strategies, with a track record of delivering these from concept to execution, on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and network building skills; you'll be able to and enjoy selling ideas and creative work with passion.
  • Experience of providing commercially focused business intelligence, tracking against business KPIs.
  • Confidence in using analytic tools such as Google Analytics and MetaAnalytics.
  • Expertise in social media management including strategising content creation, content scheduling, building audiences and nurturing engagement.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multichannel marketing campaigns, ideally within the publishing and/or media industries.
