The role
We're now looking for a motivated Junior Account Executive based from our Cheadle office to join the Jensten Group.

We have specialisms in Hospitality, Entertainment, and Licensed Trades and arrange insurance either directly with policyholders or via other insurance brokers who come to us because of our range of products and excellent service levels.

The main purpose of the role is to establish a new book business
- focussing on Commercial General Insurance (i.e. Liabilities & Properties) and to create new long standing client relationships, through the delivery of excellent customer service.


Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling new business enquiries by taking information from customers and obtaining quotations from insurers
  • Putting forward new business tenders to customers and chasing for instructions.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with customers
  • Demonstrate confident and efficient telephone skills
  • Effectively analyse client needs and develop solutions.
  • Making outgoing telephone calls/ visits to existing and prospective customers
  • Ensure adherence to the company compliance, systems and procedures at all times
  • Respond promptly to client queries and ensure that all communications with customers and/or insurers or other business contacts are accurately recorded (in writing)

About you
- as well as excellent commissions.

You will also be or have:

  • Insurance industry background (ideally with Commercial)
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent face to face & telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
  • Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
  • Worked in a similar role previously
  • Good attention to detail and can multitask, updating relevant systems and admin (ideally with Acturis knowledge)

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
