About The Role:

***Simplyhealth are on a mission to make healthcare in the UK accessible for everyone. We have 2 million customers across our Health and Dental products. We aim to support and protect the NHS through the provision of outpatient support to help people live their best lives.


You'll be comfortable working with financial services platforms (insurance, policy admin, claims process etc.) or transactional loan platforms and working on our new policy platform to iterate and innovate on the platform.

This will include working with external partners to figure out the best way for us to securely hand customers to their services in a way that can be used across many partners and find creative ways to link new partners into the customer journey without significant impact on current systems.


Ultimately, you'll provide leadership, vision and direction, and actively contribute to the delivery of Simplyhealth's product portfolio to help realise our purpose - to improve access to healthcare to everyone in the UK.


You might currently be working as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Architect, Enterprise Solutions Architect, Director Solutions Architecture, Solutions Director, Data Architect or Software Architect.

About You:

***Ideally, you'll:
  • Have experience of architecting health eco systems
  • Have designed and configured technical solutions in a complex environment
  • Have experience and knowledge of financial services platforms and/or transactional loan platforms
  • Have knowledge of the wider NHS, healthcare, and healthtech industry
  • Have experience of handling customer health data and standards for integration and transfer of such data
  • Have knowledge of working in a regulated (financial, healthcare, software as a medical device) environment with the necessary controls and security requirements to ensure we protect our most important assets
  • Be an enthusing change champion with demonstrable experience shaping and delivering wide ranging portfolios
  • Be a pragmatic commercial thinker and possess the ability to make an impact
  • Make timely choices based on the options and information available
  • Set and accomplish challenging goals
  • Handle change and uncertainty with ease and move forward quickly
  • A good working knowledge of our tech stack (especially Salesforce and Microsoft Azure)
  • A background in software development or software engineering
  • A qualification at degree/masters' level in technology / engineering
