With the demand for sustainable buildings and the ever increasing costs of energy, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Technical Sales Manager who can support the business selling Products & Services in a predominantly B2B environment.

Backedup by a first class delivery team, the Technical Sales Manager will oversee the process from initial enquiry to installation, demonstrating high levels of communication and installing confidence every step of the way.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with colleagues reviewing current and potential products/services on offer and seeking opportunities to cross sell and/or up sell accordingly
  • Identifying and helping bring to market new products & services
  • Work with the Directors on targets & strategies to secure new business across all parts of the Group
  • Liaise with the Office Manager to develop and manage a CRM system
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to produce Marketing material
  • Maintain sales targets in a changing industry, anticipating demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Develop and manage a sales process
  • Prepare/Submit & Present reports on progress at monthly meetings
  • Chase leads and follow up on opportunities to generate sales working closely with the relevant business Directors
  • Arrange and attend industry conferences and events
  • Promoting a positive brand image & maintain professional and technical knowledge by; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Required skills, attributes and experience:

  • Indepth technical knowledge of M&E related systems including heat pumps, lighting and solar PV
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Efficient time management
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven track record of successfully managing sales targets
  • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales
  • Target driven


This position will best suit a self-motivated ambitious technical sales professional with aspirations to grow sales and a business division, laying the foundations for a long successful career with an equally ambitious business.

The position also comes with an excellent commission scheme and generous car allowance.
