Dynamics Functional Consultant - Permanent - Hybrid (2 days Manchester)
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Dynamics Functional Consultant to join our team, supporting our Dynamics implementation with a focus on Field Service.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday on a hybrid basis - 2 days a week in our Manchester office.
The salary is £45,000- £55,000 per annum, depending upon experience, plus company bonus.The Dynamics Functional Consultant will contribute to the company's business objectives by:
- Working collaboratively on a range of projects delivering Dynamics solutions across the Group, including Business Central, Field Service, Customer Engagement and Power Platform
- Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Understanding business processes and how D365 can improve them.
- Providing support to users of BAU solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business SMEs, BAs and Product Owners to understand business requirements / processes and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Epics, Features and User Stories in the Product backlog.
- Collaborate with 3rd party IT service providers to develop, configure and customise Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Work with colleagues to support the implementation of new solutions, including contributing to UAT, creating / delivering training material and providing post golive support.
- Have an in depth understanding of customizations made by the company to 'out of the box' Dynamics solutions.
- Lead investigation into bugs / issues and deliver appropriate fixes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage the assessment, testing and implementation of regular solution upgrades.
- Provide 2nd line support to users of Microsoft Dynamics solutions and work with external partners to manage 3rd line support arrangements.
- Collaborate with business operations teams and technical staff to build strong relationships to drive efficiencies, reduce business risk and improve outcomes for our customers.
- Develop understanding of the current and future technology landscape.
- Ensure company quality standards are adhered to.
- Understand and ensure data protection and standards are adhered to.
- Review external documentation (External clients or Industry) and provide information and solutions that fully meet the expectations of our business and our customers.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Degree or relevant professional qualification.
Experience
- 3 years in Functional Consultant role
- Experience of Dynamics 365, ideally Field Service, Business Central and Customer Engagement
- Holds relevant Microsoft Certifications
- Use of Microsoft Dev Ops.
- Working in Agile methodologies
- Previous experience in a Support environment
- Experience of Dynamics 365 HR
- Working within the energy industry.

- Ability to deliver business solutions for programmes/projects, balancing time, cost, and quality.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Ability to operate and within varied project methodologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Adept in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
- Proven ability working with data that underpins business processes, while always preserving data integrity.
