SALARY:
£24,752.88 pro rata (Actual salary £18,564.66 per annum)
HOURS: 30 per week, 6am - 12pm or a split shift 6am - 9am and 1- 3pm - Hybrid working available with 2 days in the office
LOCATION:
Albert Road plus other Bristol depots when required
Administration Assistant
Purpose of the role:
As an Administration Assistant you will support Bristol Waste Company to provide an efficient and effective administrative support to designated service areas, in a professional manner
Key responsibilities:
- Compile and maintain resource administration, including local records systems and management information
- Production of regular ad hoc reports and support both annual/periodical audits
- Undertake general reception duties and welcoming visitors when required
- Operate job allocation system Alloy, ensuring that all required response times are applied, following up queries with management as required and updating jobs with notes
- Raising proactive jobs through the job allocation system Alloy
- Raising and GRNing Purchase Orders using Sage
- Assisting operational staff
Essential requirements for the role:
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Relevant experience of maintaining and manipulating computerised/paperbased data/information
- Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative, both independently and cooperatively as part of a team
- Demonstrable ability to file and retrieve information, both in paper and electronic formats and an understanding of the need to handle information securely and confidentially
- Demonstrable numeracy skills and be capable of undertaking accurate financial and other calculations
- To hold a full driving licence to go between sites when required
