We are recruiting for a Criminal Justice Administrator to join a policing team based in Kidlington.
In this role, you will provide a high-quality administrative service to customers (both internal and external) working within a policing team supportingvictims and witnesses as they progress through the criminal justice system.
You will prepare and process all cases relating to Postal Requisitions and submission to CPS/CourtsIncluding:
- 1st hearings process/action all file types and submit them to CPS/Court within the required timeframes, liaising with JGO's, Officers/police staff, CPS & Courts to ensure work is completed
- Registration of postal requisitions to ensure defendants are requisition correctly and within the agreed timescales
- Booking of Biometrics', maintaining diaries, liaison with Custody, Defendants and third parties.
- Ensure all timeframes are met and submission of work sent to agencies complies with standards/quality in line with the National File Standard. All cases must be uploaded correctly and
You will have:
- Good standard of education or equivalent standard of experience.
- Recent experience of working in an administrative role within a customer service environment, including use of databases.
- Proven ability to use own initiative and problem solve within a team environment to make effective decisions within tight time constraints.
- Proven time management and organisational skills to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to pay attention to detail, producing accurate work.
- Willing to work towards NVQ Business Administration level 2 or equivalent and/or significant experience in this area.
- Proven ability of clear and concise written and verbal communication with proven interpersonal skills.
- Ideally knowledge and/or understanding of the Criminal Justice System, MS Office packages
- Knowledge or experience of partnership and/or multiagency working.
This is a temporary role for an initial 3 months with potential to be extended or made permanent, working full-time paying £12.18 per hour PAYE.
The Foundation provides funding for a number of charities, channelled via the Big Give, the online donation platform that allows donors to discover and donate to projects of interest.
