Description

Overview:

Recovery Coordinator:
Integrated Offender Management (IOM)

This secondment post to be part of the IOM team in Warrington emanates in part from the significant drive by the Government as part of its new national Combatting Drugs Strategy, and forms part of our local partnership vision for strengthening our work with the criminal justice system and in particular the continuity of care we want to see between Prison leavers and community services.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with a passion for helping our service users and a can-do attitude to help tackle the often-difficult transition that prisoners leaving custody must overcome in reintegrating back into the community.

You will be someone with the ability to make a real connection with people, someone who has experience in partnership working and can navigate their way through to that win/win outcome for services but crucially never losing sight of the individual service users' needs at the heart of the work.

You will also need good organisational skills and be keen on taking a thorough approach and diligence in your work, especially in assessing risk and safeguarding matters.

We want someone who can mentor individuals, but also build upon our existing and longstanding work with our criminal justice service partners.

In this post you will become an integral member of the service wide team and you will be expected to work within the good governance standards and quality of our operations, and moreover stay true to the authentic and long-standing service user focus of our delivery.

You will be expected to be a good communicator, and transparent and candid in your relationship with your colleagues, our services users, and our stakeholders from across the Warrington partnership.

In return you will be joining a resilient and purposeful service culture and an organisation that has aspiration for its staff and the people it serves at its core.

Change Grow Live are committed to creating an inclusive environment, which celebrates difference and allows our staff and service users to flourish.

We recruit the very best staff from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring service users benefit from our diverse skills and expertise.

We always work to the principles of fairness and equality of opportunity in all our recruitment processes.

We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the best safeguarding practice.
