Description

Duties

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Plan routes and meet time schedules.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Qualifications/Experience:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, scaffold labourer or scaffolder alongside driving.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Proven track record of safe driving practices.
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to operate a flatbed truck is preferred.
  • Strong communication and a team player mentality.

Salary:
£13.00-£15.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
