Our client is a wealth & investment manager who are seeking an experienced senior level compliance professional who is looking to move into an SMF16/17 role.

You will have overall responsibility for all compliance policies and controls across the businessand will work closely with the CEO's and Senior Management Team to help improve the business, ensuring it fully complies with all statutory and regulatory obligations.

With the support of 2 direct reports and an external Consultancy, you will oversee all areas of compliance for the business.

You will be at least Level 4 Diploma qualified with a view to becoming Chartered (study support offered), with strong generalist compliance experience gained at a senior level within a wealth management environment.

You will have experience of discussingissues and presenting findings to senior management teams or Boards, with strong report writing skills.

This role will suit someone looking to take their next step into a SMF16/17 role but with a solid background behind them so able to hit the ground runningwith little supervision.

Ideally you will have managed or supervised a small team in the past.

The company operate a hybrid working model with 3 days a week in the office (Wednesday's essential). Benefits include a 15% bonus, life assurance, income protection and share scheme participation after 1 years employment.
