Desirable qualifications include

  • Paddle sport Instructor or higher
  • Paddle sport Touring Leader or higher


  • MBL Level

  • Mountain Leader
  • Dingy Sailing Instructor
  • Windsurfing Instructor
  • Power Boat Instructor
Additional outdoor qualifications are desirable but not essential.

We have regular staff training sessions to help you develop your personal skills in all activities offered at the centre.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Ensuring safety cover of the highest standard from the beach and safety boats.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of health and safety is adhered to and advise guests on the practical/safe use of all equipment.
  • Assisting in the preparation, organisation and delivery of activities for all customers both on and off the water. This involves setting up, helping customers and the tidying of equipment.
  • Taking personal responsibility for the maintenance, repair and security of all LMW equipment.
  • Ensuring that the appearance of the Boathouse always meets customer expectations.
  • Assisting with the setting up of LMW at the start of the season and the packing down at the end of the season.
  • Ensuring all customers have a positive and enjoyable experience at LMW. Personal Attributes and Qualities
