Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools supported by Protocol Education, providing essential support to students with special educational needs.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide oneonone support to students with special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Assist teachers in adapting lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs of students
  • Help students develop social skills and build positive relationships with peers
  • Support students in developing independence and selfconfidence
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create personalized learning plans for students with special educational needs
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with special educational needs is a necessity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of the diverse needs of students
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the changing needs of students
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
