Really handy

Your role

As our Care Worker (known internally by us Reablement Worker), you'll be supporting our customers in their own apartment within Amblers Orchard who have a range of support needs including frailty and dementia.

You'll be helping them to regain or maintain theirindependence and live well in their own home by carrying out every day daily living activities by themselves.

You'll also help customers who have more complex needs with personal care including bathing, toileting and getting dressed.
You'll find that notwo days are the same because everything we do is "person centred" around our customers.

So, you might be helping with personal care (like bathing and issuing medication) in the morning, supporting to cook their lunch and a bit of shopping in the afternoon.

We even help customers to go on holiday

You'll assist in the delivery of tasks based on our customers personal support plans, ensuring every customer feels valued, respected and that their dignity is maintained.

Working hours

We'll be providing 24-hour support, so you'll work on a rota basis with shifts between 06.45am to 10.00pm, taking your turn to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

We need you to be flexible to meet their needs, but in return we'll give you thetime you need to do the things that matter to you
