We have an exciting opportunity for a QC Placement Student to join us


As a Placement Student your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to:

  • Updating/authoring and following relevant SOPs, Job Aids, and Company policies and procedures.
  • Performing a full range of analytical testing: IPC, raw materials, finished product, stability process validation and cleaning validation.
  • Supporting the QC Team Leader in all areas of Method Development, method transfers, method validation and Reference Standard Qualification.
  • Assisting in Stability trending and reporting for shelflife justification and extension.
  • Ensuring laboratory OOS/atypical results are performed within the time frame according to the SOP and to ensure all CAPAs are assigned and completed within the agreed timeframe.
  • Supporting the continuous review, improvement and implementation of SOPs, Methods, and Specifications.
  • Completing all tasks safely and report incidents/near misses to line manager.
  • Changing focus depending on priority of product and need of patient.
  • Ensuring work areas are clean, tidy and 5S systems are effective.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Successful completion of a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate study in a Chemistry related discipline
  • Strong, up to date knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and associated techniques and technologies
  • A supportive nature and good teamplaying mentality
  • Being capable of working towards KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work at pace and in a highpressured environment
**Hours of work for this role: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
