Job Description:
In-person 11+ tutor - Cambridge and surrounding areas


Responsibilities:


  • Develop personalised study plans based on student's strengths and weaknesses
  • Teach testtaking strategies and techniques to improve students' performance
  • Review and explain each component of the entrance exam for their chosen school
  • Administer practice tests and assess students' progress
  • Provide feedback and guidance to help students overcome challenges and improve their scores
  • Track and report on students' progress to school via our platform
  • Advantageous if you have previous experience with preparing students for their entrance exams. Please state which schools when applying.
  • Be punctual, organised and friendly.

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience tutoring or teaching students in preparation for their entrance exams
  • Strong knowledge of the entrance exam components
  • Familiarity with test content and format
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear manner
  • Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills to track student progress and manage study materials

Current DBS certificate and be signed up to the update service. This is essential as the lessons will take place at the students home.


Job Type:
Freelance


Pay:
£30.00-£45.00 per hour
