Job description
Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Fixed Term for 12 months
Play a key role in supporting the delivery of new and ongoing projects within the Neighbourhood Services team.
Neighbourhood Services provide library and community services across the city.
This includes key reading, health information, digital and cultural offers, and work closely with our partners to deliver an exciting programme of events and activities to engage children, families, and adults from all communities.
Join our well-established team, where you'll work closely with colleagues from within Neighbourhood Services, as well as other teams from across council, to deliver the roll-out of a Library self-access system.
You'll be based primarily at Town hall but will be required to work across the city, from a variety of council settings, as required to conduct site visits, project meetings and other related tasks.
You will ordinarily work Monday to Friday during typical office hours but may be required to work at evenings and weekends when required.
What you'll be doing
You'll maintain key project documentation such as risk logs, change control logs, schedules, milestone plans and communications plans.
As the administrator for project team meetings, you'll keep accurate records of meetings, arrange meeting dates and invites, and track project actions.
You'll monitor project finances and compile progress reports. Liaising with stakeholders, you'll respond to queries as well as update and inform on the progress of the project.What you'll need
Experienced in undertaking administrative tasks, you'll have the ability to compile and present reports, monitor project budgets and report against progress.
Using excellent written and verbal communication skills, you'll liaise effectively with stakeholders and communicate complex information to a wide of range of people.
You'll have an enthusiastic approach to work, a willingness to learn and the ability to work well within a team environment.
