Some responsibilities


Following the directions of the Commercial Coordinator Team Leader, the Commercial Coordinator will be responsible for the commercial activities of the assigned MPW-EU Front Offices within the Service Operations Department.

To assure the correct performance of the Day-to-Day commercial activities, the Commercial Coordinator will require good knowledge of CRM and SAP software and be involved in activities related with the release and utilization of the new CRM.

Main front offices to be covered are Poland, The Netherlands and Germany however other offices / projects might be assigned.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Commercial Coordination activities:
  • Review customer's RFQ received from the relevant PM/FO
  • Discuss the RFQ with the assigned PM and if required with the Commercial Coordinator Team Leader
  • Prepare cost calculations and review the document with the Programme Manager and/or the Commercial Coordinator Team Leader
  • Complete quotations body and prepare the CRM for the approval
  • Upon communication from PM/FO of the receipt of the Purchase Order from the customer, request a WBS number via CRM to the Finance Accounting (FA) department
  • As required, prepare the purchase orders approval documentation, submit it to the approvers following the Authorization Matrix and follow up until the approval is completed
  • Provide the information Purchase Order documentation to the Purchasing Department for the issuance of the Purchase Order on SAP
  • Oversee the issuance of the purchase order keeping in touch with the Purchasing Department, making sure the KPI's are met and share the Purchase Order with the PM/FO in charge for their submission to the relevant vendor
  • Share the invoice with the PM/FO in charge for their submission to the customer
  • Measure commercial operations KPI's through CRM
  • Implement the Commercial procedures including RFQ, sales, purchasing and reporting activities as defined above
  • Utilise SAP and CRM systems for commercial project requirements: Correctly and accurately maintain CRM/D365 system for project recording & reporting, including monthly business planning updating/Utilise SAP for quotation, sales order and purchase order preparation
  • Conduct commercial analysis of projects pre/post inspection including budget analysis and reporting.

The person

  • Education: Preferably degree qualified
  • Fluency in business English
    (Essential):
  • Fluency in business Polish

  • Fluency in business German
    (Essential):
  • Strong commercial and time management skills/experience with the ability to handle multiple tasks of varied complexity, set priorities, meet deadlines
  • Excellent collaboration skills to engage with high performance teams and colleagues in different functions and levels within a diverse and global organization
  • High degree of commercial acumen, numeracy, and general diplomacy or engineering
  • High standard of integrity
  • Computer knowledge and mastery of common Microsoft software packages for office work.
  • Very good knowledge of CRM and SAP
Basic Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Logistics and Administration.
