Description
Gillies is a long-established family business with Home Furnishing Stores throughout the North and East of Scotland.


We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Warehouse Porter to join our Carpets and Flooring team, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The role covers a variety of support services, including loading, unloading and moving stock. No flooring experience is necessary as full training, including forklift training, will be provided.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in logistics and distribution and is based in our Distribution Centre located at West Pitkerro Industrial Estate, Dundee.


Required Skills:


  • Attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and timekeeping
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members
  • Current driving licence is essential.
