The Faculty are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.8FTE) Senior Lecturer in Portuguese from 10 April 2023 until 01 December 2023.

The postholder will give up to 6 hours teaching in Brazilian Portuguese in each week of term and will take primary responsibility for the design and delivery of language teaching in Brazilian Portuguese and be responsible for the co-ordination of other language teaching staff in Portuguese across the collegiate university.

Applicants should be fluent in Brazilian Portuguese to native speaker level, and hold a degree level qualification in Portuguese/taught in Portuguese with a significant literature, language, or writing component.

They should have experience of teaching the language as a foreign language in higher education.
