Castle Employment Group are working exclusively with a family based near Kirbymoorside who are wanting to hire a chef to prepare lunches and evening meals through the week Monday-Friday for up to 5 people all year round.

You would have a passion for food and good understanding of menu planning and dietary requirements.

You will have the ability to work self-employed or happily be directly employed by the family working Monday -Friday with occasional extra work available throughout the year but predominantly working 5 hours per day, with time off through the summer and at Christmas.

Salary:

- £18 - £20ph

Role:

Work up to 5 hours per day completing lunch and leaving dinner ready for up to 5 people.
Ensure all dietary requirements have been met & understood including understanding of calories and reduced sugar.
Working closely with the family to understand their likes & dislikes and the variety in their diet.
Occasionally supporting with events at the house and catering for larger numbers and at weekends
Produce shopping list based on the ingredients used weekly.

Requirements:

Relevant Catering Qualifications (City & Guilds 706/1/2/3 or NVQ)
Food safety knowledge
Allergen & dietary knowledge
Personable & approachable and comfortable working in a household kitchen

Available Monday

Friday 10 4pm
