St Josephs Nursing Home is part of the Little Sisters of the Poor, a registered charity, St Josephs is rated outstanding by the CQC.
We are looking to appoint an Induction & Development Training Officer to join the team. The role is part time, 25 hours per week with some flexibility around hours worked.- Experience of being in a training role or qualification in training
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care is essential together with recent training in Moving and Handling and Health and Safety. Certificated training in other relevant topics such as Food Safety, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and the Mental Capacity Act would be a distinct advantage as would experience of facilitating training courses and or/mentoring.
- strong planning and organising skills,
- the ability to work effectively with staff and unit managers
- Proficient in the use of IT including creating and maintaining comprehensive training records
- Effective mentoring at an individual level
- Flexibility to train staff at various times of the day.
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

£17,602.00 per year
