A Civil, Structural and Geo Consultancy based in Manchester City Centre are looking for an enthusiastic Project Civil Engineer to work as part of a 17-strong office above Manchester's skyline in a 10th floor, modern office space bang in the city centre.**The company are a nationwide firm with 5 offices from London and Surrey, across to Bristol, through Birmingham and up to Manchester.

They have around 150 staff in total and operate across an extremely diverse number of private sectors, but also have the securityand foundation of working on Public Sector frameworks like Homes England, making the company and pipeline of work extremely resistant against any kind of economic downturn.

The company are looking for someone who has at least 3+ years experience working as a Civil Design Engineer in the Residential sector, ideally with some form of background working on housing schemes (preferential but not essential).

Someone who has only recentlyqualified from Junior status would be suitable, but this role is open to anyone up to Senior level who is looking for the next step in their career.

The right Project Civil Engineer may have:

Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Practical understanding of civil engineering principles.
Working knowledge of software package (PDS, Microdrainage or similar) for highway design and ground modelling.
Working knowledge of WinDes to design and model new drainage systems including sustainable drainage.
Working knowledge of Sewers for Adoption 6th/7th Edition & DCG
Working knowledge of CIRIA SuDS Manual C75
Working knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
