Job Overview

In your new role as a Janitor you will provide routine housekeeping duties and janitorial tasks to support the effective operations of the schools.

This will involve low level maintenance tasks and carrying out minor repairs such as painting, plumbing and joinery, along with some minor grounds maintenance.

You will be responsible for security of the building including the opening and closure of the premises and grounds at prescribed times.

You will carry out regular service inspections and ensure correct operation of the heating, plant and lighting facilities. You will prepare rooms and halls for a range of uses, including setting out and removal of furniture. Hourly Rate is £12.55 per hour, 40hrs a week.

What we are looking for

In order to be successful in this role you will have an efficient approach to work with good time management.

You will be trustworthy and reliable. Previous Cleaning experience is not essential as full training will be given.
