Every year, we support over 300 individuals in our housing provision, enabling them to grow their confidence and move into education, training, employment and into independent living.

Alongside this we provide a whole host of youth and community services including our own community gardens.

We also provide training and education to 150 young people each year who find mainstream education more difficult, as well as high-quality childcare within our community.

Our team works hard to provide as much care and support for those who need it most, every day we make a difference.

£22,660

Hours:35hrs per week - flexibility including evenings and weekends

(12-month Contract)

Location:
YMCA Campus, London Road, Derby City

A new opportunity has arisen to join our well-established Youth and Community Team at YMCA Derbyshire to assist in developing and engaging people through the natural world.

We are seeking an individual to bring 'hands on' experience to support projects which will transform green spaces in our local communities.

The role will very much see you immersing yourself in communities around Derby City Centre, working with individuals and community groups to collectively design and develop green spaces.

The project will be focussed on nature-based regeneration. We want you to work with already established and recruit new YMCA volunteers to bring these projects to life.

Requirements:

A full driving licence is essential.
