Simpson Judge have just been given the opportunity to recruit for this perm-based role with immediate effect. Our client needs someone to support a busy function and work in the office daily.

Reporting into the Financial Controller this is a heavily involvedrole and required an ambitious individual to step in and join the business.

Job Summary:

Key Tasks:

Full cycle Accounts Payable processes
Processing purchase invoices (both stock and nonstock invoices)
Complete weekly payment run report
Supplier statement reconciliations
Supplier payment allocations
Maintain supplier master files
Assistance with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, Group Reporting and Year End Accounting
Ad hoc projects

This position would ideally suit a part time qualified accountant with ambition to develop their career in a fast-paced subsidiary of a FTSE 100 plc.

Ideally they will have the following personal attributes:

Be experienced in accounts payable processes, ideally the full process cycle
Navision experience is an advantage but not necessary
Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills
Have sound judgement and the ability to make good decisions
Have strong IT, numerical, problemsolving skills and strong Excel skills
Be an organised, fast worker with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Be able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise their workloads
Tenacious, selfstarter, committed and hardworking
Be selfmotivated with a desire to always achieve high standards

You receive in return:

Hours of work:
(these hours are fixed)
8.45 am - 5 pm Monday to Thursday, with a 30 minute lunch break
8.45 am pm Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break
