Group Project Accountant job for a tech company based in London on a 15 month FTC paying £75,000-£80,000

Your new company

You'll be working for an industry leading tech company within the retail space with an extensive market reach that have grown rapidly and successfully through acquisition with further growth plans.

Your new role

You'll be working as a Group Project Accountant and will be responsible for group accounting and integration of new entities supporting the M&A team.

Your duties will include supporting the initiation and independent review/audit of an ongoing quarterlygroup sub-consolidation through production of key accounting entries and drafting of financial statement disclosures relating to:

Trade investments
Subconsolidation reclassifications and intercompany eliminations
Equity accounting
Provisions
Facilitation of tax calculations and disclosures (providing Tax team with what they need)
Group audit facilitation
Group financial statement disclosure drafting
Ad hoc technical accounting matters

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience within a multi-currency, highly complex group function.

You'll also need to have a comprehensive working knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP as well as SOx controls witha background in audit.

What you'll get in return

You'll be needed on a 15 month fixed term contract and be paid £75,000-£80,000 per annum and will work a 37.5 hour week in a mainly office based with some hybrid working capacity.
