We are pleased to be partnering with Millennium Mats, Europe's leading mat manufacturer in their search for a Supply Chain Manager to join their growing business.

Millennium Mats is a leading European mat manufacturer, producing over 270,000 mats per year, they specialise in custom logo printed, indoor carpeted, outdoor scraper, anti-fatigue and utility/food service matting

The business has reaped the rewards of consistently investing in new technology, which has provided 10 years of growth, this has led to huge investment in a new 50,000 sq.

ft. facility and further technology


The Role:

The Supply Chain Manager is a newly created role, created to take ownership of the end to end supply chain at Millennium Mats, this role will be based at the European manufacturing and distribution hub in Milton Keyes and will involve travel to manufactureand supply partners
In terms of the remit, this role will be responsible for the following existing process:

  • Supplier management of existing yarn suppliers
  • Order placement (utilising existing buyer)
  • Intake of yarns into the storage facility
  • Shipment to the Tufter for manufacture into carpet
  • Inventory management of both Yarns and carpets
  • Shipment on a just in time basis to the manufacturing facility
  • Onward delivery to customer using existing 3PL provider

The Person:


We are searching for someone who can take the existing processes and provide improvements and efficiencies moving forward, essentially providing a fresh set of eyes on the status quo.

In terms of the type of person and experience we would be looking for we discussed the following:

  • Ideally end to end experience, with a minimum expectation of managing purchasing and planning
  • Corporate/ blue chip experience with the ability to bring 'what good looks like' to Millennium
  • Degree qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' experience including people management of a small team
  • Data driven with an analytical, strategic approach
