The Opportunity
An opportunity to work with some of the UK's biggest sporting organisations, brands, venues and governing bodies.

You will pay a key role with some of our biggest clients as we expand our content team to meet a period of growth.

Responsibilities

As our Production Editor you will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver all our projects in a fast-paced role.

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

• Liaising with our creative studio, making full use of project management and collaboration tools
• Liaising with clients and assessing, interrogating and clarifying their briefs
• Controlling and managing flat plans, working with the content and studio teams to accommodate editorial, advertorial and advertising requirements
• Writing headlines, standfirsts, subheads, cover lines and straplines for an array of content
• Writing copy for mailers
• Assessing content against briefs before work is sent out to clients
• Subediting copy
• Working with the design team on selecting and sourcing images and briefing in page layouts
• Ensuring advertising copy is received and approved on time
• Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows, to ensure a smooth production process with ontime delivery
• Communicating the client and project needs to the creative team to ensure that the work meets the agreed brief

Key skills
You will be comfortable in CMS programmes like Wordpress.

You will be strong relationship builder, balancing the client, the work and the team on a daily basis.

You will be a flexible multi-tasker ready to turn your hand to the needs of the agency on any given day.

You will report to the director of 18Players and work on a day-to-day basis with the Account Manager and Studio Manager, as well as the rest of the 18Players team and, of course, our clients.

The Details
Our offices are based in a leafy North Leeds suburb, close to Scarcroft.

We offer a flexible approach to office working and our staff work in a hybrid fashion, with days each week spent in the office and at home.

When in the office we can offer a state-of-the-art gym, Sky TV and proper coffee.

Salary is £30,000 - £35,000 DOE and comes with phone, laptop, pension and 23 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays)
