Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating the firm's corporate economic model.
  • Performing risk based economic evaluations to evaluate the feasibility of projects and facilitate the investment decisionmaking process, identifying key business drivers.
  • Providing economic modelling and sensitivity analysis to understand and implement value drivers that could significantly increase project returns.
  • Providing commercial input and guidance for other key business functions e.g. finance, exploration and development, operations etc.

Skills & Experience:

  • Over 5 years' experience in a big 4 advisory team, investment bank, energy provider and/or private equity.
  • An understanding of financial statements and an ability to integrate valuation models with corporate financial statements.
  • A good finance, mathematics, or science focused degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of modelling oil and gas, renewables, power, transmission and distribution assets and companies in various fiscal regimes is helpful.
