South Coast Home Care are an independent, bespoke domiciliary care company based in Terminus Road in Chichester and we are soon to be opening a base in Littlehampton.

We are looking to recruit a positive and diligent Deputy Care Specialist to support our Lead Care Specialist in our Chichester office.

We like to think we're a bit different, and are looking for someone to join our friendly team on a Monday

  • Friday basis.


This role requires a highly trained, experienced, and efficient individual to, along with the Lead Care Specialist, deliver outstanding levels of service ensuring that excellent care is delivered to our home-based customers, in accordance with South Coast Home Care policy.


Working to KPI's set by the Lead Care Specialist, the Deputy Care Specialist will offer guidance and supervision to care staff, carry out care assessments and drive new business as well as reviewing existing care packages.


There is a requirement to partake in the on-call rota in this role to meet the needs of business and a plan will be discussed at interview but the on-call service runs am and in the week and all weekend.

This role is currently shared between multiple senior team members.

Experience and requirements

  • 12 months deputy or senior experience in a care setting
To work well under pressure

Audit experience including medication, equipment, paperwork

Spot checks experience on staff

Care reviews and assessments
Managing carers
