Overview
We are a leading distributor in Urology & Oncology, specialising in Prostate Cancer, Bladder Cancer & Kidney Cancers & Stones.
We are looking for a qualified Urology Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Consultant who is interested in moving into the commercial world.
We are looking for a suitably qualified urology nurse to join us to look after and help with the delivery of sales in the South and to help with delivering our training courses.
There will be required travel and possibility of staying overnight away from home, also there will be attendance at urological conferences around the UK & Europe.
The Role
We are looking for suitably qualified urology nurse to join us to look after and help with the delivery of our training course in Freehand Prostate biopsy, Freehand MR Fusion Biopsy, Stone removal & treatment for Bladder Cancer.
You will be delivering support to our customers (NHS & Private Hospitals) around the United Kingdom & Ireland with use of our Freehand Prostate Biopsy Guides and our Freehand MR Fusion System initially.
We are aiming to bring our new line of innovate products in Kidney & Bladder in the Summer 2023, we would expect our Nurse trainers to also help deliver support to our customers with these products, post any product training.
Qualifications
NMC Level one registration (degree or equivalent)
ENB 237 or equivalent
Diploma level qualification in relevant discipline
Evidence of continued professional development in oncology or urology.

Experience_
Minimum three years post registration experience with a minimum of two years in Oncology or Urology at band 6 or above
Experience of administration or cytotoxic chemotherapy agents and their side effects
Consideration will be given to those with extensive experience in related specialist
Experience of venepuncture and cannulation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven listening / counselling skills
Knowledge and experience of handing complex relationships
Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a small team, as well as part of the wider multidisciplinary team
Able to prioritise workload, achieving a balance between clinical work and other aspects of the post
Able to negotiate with and influence the work of staff who are not managed within the team Advanced communication skills
Experience of audit
Experience of research
Report writing and presentation skills
Advanced clinical, managerial and leadership skills in speciality
Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
