Description

Our client is a private developer, focussed on building homes within the affordable sector, mainly along the M8 corridor.

Due to growth, they have a required for a Quantity Surveyor to join the management team, to oversee sites as soon as planning consenthas been approved.

Working with the commercial director, you will be responsible for the commercial management of 2-3 live sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain budget control throughout developments
Manage procurement of trade packages and oversee subcontract ordering
Production of monthly CVR Reports for each site
Preparing tenders and procure subcontractors
Evaluating and agreeing variations and instructions
Liaising with site personnel and subcontractors in order to maximise productivity
Using a payments system for the payment of subcontractors and goods and materials
Regular coordination and reporting to Commercial Director with all commercial aspects of the business

You will need the following to apply:

HND/HNC Qualified in Quantity Surveying
Proven experience within the housebuilding sector with either a developer or subcontractor
Full driver's license.

This role will be based between home working and site.
